Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 1, 2026

California Foundation Works, Inc. (“California Foundation Works,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at californiafoundationworks.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies only to information collected through the Site.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request an inspection, fill out a contact or quote form, call us, or email us, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, property address, and any details about your project.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the Site. We collect this using cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and tracking” below).

We do not collect payment card information through the Site.

How we use your information

We use the information to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and schedule your inspection or service;
  • Prepare and send estimates and follow up about your project;
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
  • Measure and improve our advertising and understand how visitors find and use the Site;
  • With your consent (or as otherwise permitted by law), send you information about promotions, specials, or services. You can opt out at any time.

How we share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:

  • With service providers who help us run our business and the Site (for example, hosting, CRM, email, form processing, analytics, and advertising providers), under obligations to protect it;
  • When necessary to fulfill your request (for example, scheduling and estimating your project);
  • If required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Cookies and tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies (including pixels, tags, and local storage) for three purposes: to make the Site work, to understand how it is used, and to measure and improve our advertising.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how visitors find and use the Site — for example which pages are viewed, approximate location, device type, and how you arrived. Google processes this information on our behalf. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every website you visit using Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Advertising. We advertise on platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising (Bing), Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and YouTube. These platforms may set cookies or similar identifiers on the Site so that we can measure which ads lead to enquiries and, in some cases, show our ads again to people who have already visited the Site (sometimes called remarketing or retargeting). These providers may also use the information they collect for their own purposes, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Embedded content. Some pages include video hosted by YouTube. Loading or playing that video may set cookies from YouTube and Google.

Your controls. You can control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete them. You can also limit ad personalization directly with each platform: Google and YouTube through My Ad Center (myadcenter.google.com), Meta through your Facebook or Instagram Ad Preferences, and Microsoft through your Microsoft account ad settings. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of the Site work.

Your choices and rights

You may, at any time, contact us to:

  • See what personal information we have about you;
  • Correct or update it;
  • Ask us to delete it;
  • Opt out of marketing communications;
  • Raise a concern about how we use it.

California residents. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell your personal information for money. To opt out of advertising cookies, you can use your browser settings and the platform ad controls described under “Cookies and tracking” above. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

Data security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information both online and offline, and limit access to employees who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Third-party links

The Site may link to other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; review their policies before providing information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
